  • Cookson Hills Children's Home
Cookson Hills was started in 1957 and is now equipped to handle 150 children. In 2003, they had 690 requests for help. Built on 1,000 acres in Oklahoma, Cookson Hills consists of family units of a married couple with their natural and placed children. There are 18 cottages with three to seven bedrooms. Meals are held in a large dining hall. It has a K-12 Christian school, large gymnasium, and vocational training with wood and metal shops. Cookson Hills is a working farm where children get religious training and go to church. There is a nurse and ministry social worker on duty. There are sports, family and individual activities. Natural families may visit the children once per month. Many of their graduates have moved on to Bible college and into full-time ministry and missionary work.

  • Kontakmission
Kontakmission is a European-based church-planting organization currently working in 12 countries in Europe, and including Russia. Nearly 100% of Kontakmission's missionaries are Europeans, but we are now working to establish a link between the United States and this very successful and rapidly growing group of missionaries. We use primarily native-language missionaries, which makes our teams successful where American missionaries have struggled. Our goals are (1) to send U.S. missionaries to work with European teams, (2) to locate U.S. churches and individuals who will partner with these European teams in effectively reaching their people, and (3) to increase awareness of mission opportunities in Europe among U.S. churches.

  • Lemke Mission
Cory and Janice Lemke have been CMF (Christian Missionary Fellowship) missionaries in Feodosia, Ukraine (on the Crimean Peninsula) since July 1995. Along with two local church leaders, they started a training program for church planters and led evangelism seminars in local churches. A church-planting movement has begun as evangelists/church planters have started over 70 house churches and are taught to train others to start even more groups. They are working toward the goal of a church for each of Crimea's 1,150 towns and villages.

Please pray with the Lemkes for:

Those in Ukraine who don't know Christ.

The Tatar, a Muslim people group in Crimea.

Church planters in their efforts to start new churches.
Local believers to grow in their desire and ability to be ambassadors for Christ.
Their families -- for health, safety, and the ability to "run the race" with eyes focused on Jesus.
